Review Glentronics, Inc. BWD-HWA Basement Watchdog Water Sensor, Best I've ever spent

The few days ago. I'm looking for information on the Glentronics, Inc. BWD-HWA Basement Watchdog Water Sensor and Alarm, so i would like to describe here.

I bought 2 of these from Lowe today for 13 usd,58 (model BWD-HWA). each requires a 9 volt battery, has a sensor wire 6 feet and a guarantee of 5 years, though no guarantee it will work. can stand alone or be attached to a wall with the extended wire sensor. the sensor cable can be spliced up to 100 feet, if you provide the wire. It is also claimed that the alarm sounds for up to 3 days. This needs to be in a pool of water (at least 1/32 ") to work because it has 2 sensors on the bottom that need electric current flow between them-the water is the conductor. It is not the sense of water droplets, but should work in a situation where flood water is covering the floor. I tried the ones I bought and work in a puddle, but the alarm has to be a little stronger. claims to be 110 decibels, and if this is true, then it is stronger than most similar alarms. has a constant high pitch sound (not audible signal) similar to a smoke alarm, but not nearly as high. can be heard if not too far away, but to be effective, must be heard everywhere in the House and wake her up while sleeping. so depending on your hearing, the size of your home and where you are when playing, might work well for you. However, none of these devices work when you can't hear them. If one of these devices, it would be wise to place more than one where a lot of floods might occur and cause serious damage to your home. where is the washer is a great candidate.
